I am an award winning retired classroom educator, turned educator for the world! I guide and propel youth to intentionally activate their positively powerful voice while coaching parents on how to release their conscious and unconscious biases, expectations, and labels and limits they place upon their children and themselves. My work is highly focused on creating accessibility for today’s youth to feel rich inclusivity, authentic equity, and unwavering belonging throughout their lifelong learning journey.

I lead Masterclasses, Professional Development, Personalized Workshops, and partner with adults in order to promote sustainable change for today's and tomorrow's youth. From 1:1 private clients to rooms filled with curious attendees of all ages, my impact exponentially elevates all desiring to learn and grow beyond their imagination!

Marilyn McGrone-Conley CDP

Marilyn is a member of the American Honda Motor Co. Regional Inclusion and Diversity team. In this role, she is responsible for creating and executing strategy related to Inclusion and Diversity, while supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the areas of Diversity Communications, Community Relations, Grants and Sponsorships/Partnerships. Marilyn assumed this role in June 2020.

Marilyn began her career at Honda of America Manufacturing (HAM) in Marysville, OH in June 2000 as a Mass Production Supplier Parts Quality Engineer. In 2007, she was assigned to support the startup of Honda’s newest plant in Greensburg, IN.

At the Indiana Auto Plant (IAP), Marilyn developed the Purchasing Mass Production Parts Quality Team. She moved to the New Model Parts Quality and Delivery Team, where she worked with suppliers to develop parts for future Honda Civic, CR-V, and Insight models before being assigned as the Quality Special Project Leader for the all-new 2016 Civic.

Prior to being named IAP’s Inclusion and Diversity Lead, Marilyn was the New Model Quality Unit Manager.

Marilyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management in 1996 from Purdue University – West Lafayette campus. 

Marilyn was also a founding member of Honda’s first African American Business Resource Group, where she served six years as the Secretary.  She is also a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Women Engineers and Society of Automotive Engineers.


Marilyn lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Kevin.

Mark is the Technology Transfer Program Manager for SAE Industry Technologies Consortia (ITC) and the Defense Automotive Technologies Consortium (DATC), the Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) program with the US Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center. Prior to joining SAE, Mark managed original equipment truck manufacturer accounts in both commercial and defense market segments and founded WINMARK Capture Solutions. He serves on the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Conference Committee board of directors and has a chemical engineering degree from Michigan State University. Mark has 28 years of commercial leadership and business development experience with success in U.S. Government capture management to include U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Federal Agencies and all branches of the U. S. Department of Defense.

Lauren Tedesco is the Senior Vice President at the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association.


Lauren leads the Future of Work portfolio with a focus on building the first industry-wide digital learning program in addition to driving systemic change when it comes to equity, diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining APMA, Lauren was a senior advisor at the Law Society of Ontario while teaching at Sheridan College's post graduate program in communications.


Her agency experience at leading public relations agencies early in her career set the groundwork for senior roles in the public sector including Director of Communications to the President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Education. At each step, her insight and foresight guided the formulation and launch of major public policy initiatives, underscoring the need for strong strategic planning for disruptive agents of change.


Lauren completed a B.A. (Hons) at the University of Toronto, a Postgraduate Certificate in Communications at Sheridan College and is working on a certificate in International Project Management at the University of Toronto.
